Level 3 services
PCN / ISO 9712 Level 3 in ultrasonic, magnetic particle and penetrant testing. Most work is carried out remotely, for customers in the UK and worldwide.

Procedure writing
Bespoke procedures for complex parts, customer specifications and standards not in the library — or off-the-shelf procedures for common products such as bar, plate, forgings, castings and welds.

Item 02
Procedure review & sign-off
Before a procedure can be used it must be approved by a suitably qualified Level 3. Send your own or legacy procedures for review — changes, updates or additions are suggested before sign-off.

- Approval with no further work usually within a few hours

Written practice
A written practice for the control and administration of NDT personnel training, examination and certification in accordance with ISO 9712 / BS EN ISO 9712.

Item 04
NDT audits
Regular audits check that your NDT department follows written procedure — method, calibration, equipment use and operator qualifications. They often reveal efficiency savings, and give your customers confidence.

3rd party witness inspection
On critical projects, an independent Level 3 witnessing all or part of the NDT confirms that procedures are followed and customer objectives are met — and problems are resolved quickly on site.

Dispute resolution
When manufacturer and customer or end user disagree over the interpretation of NDT results, an independent assessment of the examination and findings.

Off-the-shelf procedures are £250 + VAT (VT and ET £500 + VAT). Reviews, updates, bespoke procedures, audits, witness work and consultancy are quoted individually — you get a fixed quote before any work starts.
All work is invoiced by ABM NDT Ltd, payable by bank transfer.
